Much like the Cisterian monks documented the best slopes and soils of Burgundy over centuries, it is widely agreed upon that Côte du Py is the heart and soul of Morgan. The wines are bold, spicy and peppery in addition to the fresh Gamay characteristics that Jean Foillard has become famous for. Whole cluster fermentation for 3-4 weeks and up to 9 months in neutral barrels has been the winning formula for decades.
